Do I need an evaluation before joining a membership?
Yes. Every membership begins with a one-time evaluation. The evaluation includes advanced diagnostic lab work, a 60-90 minute consultation with your provider, and a personalized treatment plan (your Patient Handbook).
Your evaluation results determine which membership tier is the right fit and ensure your plan is built on real data, not guesswork.
How do I know which evaluation to choose?

What is the difference between Optimize and Primary Care+?
Optimize is focused hormone management: TRT, BHRT, and sex hormone monitoring. Designed for patients who are otherwise medically stable but want expert hormone care.
Primary Care+ is a full medical home: everything in Optimize, plus acute/chronic primary care, same-day sick visits, in-office procedures, thyroid and adrenal management, peptide therapies, the full pharmacy benefit program (1,000+ free generics), and longitudinal care coordination.
Can I bundle memberships?
Yes. If you need services from more than one tier (for example, weight loss and hormone optimization), you can bundle memberships and receive a 30% discount on your first month. This gives you coordinated, comprehensive care under one roof.
Does Asymmetric Health mark up medications?
No. Whatever the pharmacy charges the practice is exactly what you pay. Zero profit motive in prescribing. This means your clinician can prescribe the medication, dose, and formulation that is genuinely best for you without any financial conflict of interest.

What do I pay on top of my membership?
Your membership covers all appointments, program management, prescribing, and care coordination. On top of the membership, you pay separately for labs, medications, supplements, and imaging.
Medications are passed through at cost with zero markup, and many generics are free for PC+ members through the pharmacy benefit program. Labs and imaging are transparently priced cash pay, and you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you'd like.
Do you accept insurance?
Asymmetric Health is a direct-pay practice and does not bill insurance. This model allows an Asymmetric Health clinician to spend real time with you, order the tests that matter, and prescribe without insurance gatekeeping.
You can use insurance at outside pharmacies, labs (Labcorp), imaging centers, and specialists. Many patients pair their membership with a high-deductible plan or health-sharing ministry.
Is there a service discount for veterans or first responders?
Yes. Asymmetric Health offers a 10% discount on memberships for current and former military, first responders, small business owners, and those in the trades. Thank you for your service.
